Kardinal Synd The album ”[emo]

Kardinal Synd

The album ”[emo]” by Kardinal Synd is full of energy, cynicism, and beautifully expressed language. Sometimes the energy is a little too much for the melody to be distinguishable, but still pretty fun to listen to.
The two favourite songs are ”Galen” and ”Det är över nu”
”Galen” is a fun and quirky love story about two people who fit each other perfectly because they're both equally messed up. Exactly how messed up they are feels like it's best explained in Swedish as some expressions used migh not have had the same impact if they had used another language.
”Det är över nu” is another example of how delightful Swedish sounds if used properly. It is a song about giving up though never going against one's own principles. I'll give the album a 5 out of 10, as to be honest I still don't hear anything that blows my mind.

PREMIERE!
Now start RTSIs campaign for the right to their identity!
We begin the campaign with the release of this music video with the song "To all of you" from the artist Eddie Wheeler.

The song is created in a collaboration between Eddie Wheeler and RTSIs participants and will be attended also by several sub-cultural profiles.

"To all of you" is a symbol of what can happen if the trust given to young and alternative to get to create, to tell his story. The message speaks for itself.

We are incredibly proud to present "to all of you!"

We are pleased to present  "Till Alla Er"!

Vindland – Hanter Savet Review

Vindland – Hanter Savet Review

Hanter Savet by Vindland is an amazing mix of pagan metal and melodic black metal from France. It has classic black metal elements such as fast drums, tremolo riffs and ethereal acoustic passages but Hanter Savet also features very melodic guitar riffs with a taste of pagan influence but while still holding the black metal atmosphere. Riffs can extend from epic pagan sounding to very melancholic harmonies which are heard very strongly in songs such as "Serr-Noz" and "Pedenn Koll". Songs like "Treuzwelus" really accent this pagan influence with melodic leads and galloping picking patterns very subtly supported by keys. The vocals fit right in and have a classic black metal feel with mid and high screams. The production is great for a release like this.  Everything is very clear and well mixed yet still hold that black/pagan metal atmosphere.

Hordes of apocalypse – The melting body horror experience

Hordes of apocalypse – The melting body horror experience

Hordes of the apocalypse keeps going strong with the 80's horror theme, which turns it into a little bit of nostalgia to listen to. “The melting body horror experience” seems like they had a lot of cool ideas for songs and then crammed them all into one album instead of working on each idea to refine it more.
The lyrics are still fun to listen to and the George A. Romero feel is a pretty good theme, but it still feels a little bit like they're trying to figure themselves out. I liked the singing parts and that is something I'd like to see them develop more. The intros (and outros) to some of the songs are hilariously misleading as to what kind of music it is, but the feel of them is definitely right.
I'll give them a six out of ten as they had a lot of fun ideas that I would love to see developed but they sometimes sound a little like they're still practicing. They have potential to become pretty awesome, but it feels like they're not quite there yet.
